On October 29th (October 16th Old Style) 2012, His Eminence Bishop Photii of Triaditza tonsured to the rank of Rasophore-nun novice Euphemia (Hitova) and novice Marina (Hristova), who were elected by the sisterhood members of the Sisterhood Council. They entered the first rank of monasticism with the names Elizabeth (in honor of Saint Elizabeth the Grand Duchess of Russia) and Ioanna (in honor of Saint Jonh of Rila, the Wonderworker).
